With the trail grooming, trails are starting to look good around Mono. Just need to add some snow and cold temps. and we will be good to go. Happy Holidays to everyone.

has the groomer been out at all this weekend? i realize most areas will be blown dry from all the winds, but i am just wondering if it was out packing and knocking down plowed fields at all, so if we get another snowfall the trails might be ridable for christmas.

The OFSC web site might say that all trails are closed and not grooming, but Markdale has been out groomer for three weeks now and had fair conditions. The Mount Forest area has also been out grooming and with a little more snow on there pre-groomed trail condition should be good.

Let it snow, let it snow, time to get those sleds ready to rock and roll. With this snowfall we must be getting close. Looking forward to those flat smooth trails and deep snow drifts.

Everyone is waiting to see the trails open and the groomer out, but I just checked the OFSC web site, and all clubs from here to New Liskard are CLOSED, not grooming and waiting for Frost, and I know Parry Sound and area has a lot more snow than us. Please be patient

the trail crosses the river on the amaranth/east luther line. the trail turns south of the 5 sideroad instead of north when you get out of the county forest north of waldemar. the trail hooks up to the old rail line and goes west.

No Kidding there isn't enough snow on the ground or frost. But we need to get the ditches knocked down and bared off or the frost will never set in. Sure would be nice with the past few days of cold weather to see the groomer out working...

For those of us who are not familiar with the Grand Valley area, where does the trail cross the Grand River?
